Paintings

A couple new cold wax abstractions from the studio.  The photos are always a little ify but I think these are okay.  My husband installed wall supports so I do not have to use push pins and have the chance the paintings fall off the wall.  Definitely a job hazard:)

Painting Games

One of 10 Oil and Cold Wax paintings accomplished during my "painting game".  This painting is 48x24" untitled at this point.  Any ideas about a title?

Painting Games

Today went to one of my art groups and found several of us play one of my favorite art games.  Being abstract in my approach I find I need a little structure.  I decide to complete a group of paintings and limit my color palette.  Such as yellow, white, black, accent of red.  Then I set a goal of 10 paintings.  It is fun/and very hard work to push through each one of the paintings
